Cost Accountant Full Time

AL FARIS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills and a deep understanding of cost accounting, with the ability to provide insights that drive cost optimization and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Analysis: Analyze and track costs, materials, and overheads to identify areas for operational improvement and cost savings.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, perform variance analyses, and create financial forecasts that align with company goals.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate cost accounting records, prepare financial reports, and provide detailed insights into the company’s financial position.
• Audit & Compliance: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, support audit activities, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.
• Cost Optimization: Recommend and implement strategies to reduce costs, optimize resources, and enhance profitability.
• Inventory & Production Monitoring: Oversee inventory valuations, track production costs, and ensure accurate reporting on stock levels and production expenses.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure seamless communication across departments.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification: CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certified by ICAI (Institute of Cost Accountants of India).
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, ideally within a manufacturing or operations-based environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar financial tools, with strong expertise in MS Excel.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to various stakeholders.
