The Role

We seek an individual to join as a School Finance Manager where your focus will be:

• Responsible for all month-end and statutory accounts, leading the annual external audit process
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the school
• Managing cash flow and working capital, providing clear visibility on liquidity and risk
• Overseeing Capex reporting, weekly KPI, and cash collection reports
• Supporting the procurement process and overseeing supplier contracts and service agreements
• Providing accurate, timely financial information to Principals, SLT, and budget holders to support decision-making
• Supervising accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and vendor payments
• Overseeing payroll in coordination with HR, ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Ensuring full compliance with financial procedures, company policy, and local accounting standards

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting or financial leadership, ideally within education or a service-oriented organisation
• Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, etc.)
• Experience in reporting, consolidation, business planning, and process improvement
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
• High level of personal integrity and professionalism
