Finance Specialist Full Time

Finance Specialist jobs in Dubai are in high demand within aviation and large-scale corporate operations. Emirates Flight Catering is seeking experienced professionals skilled in ERP finance modules, SAP FICO configuration, Oracle Financials Cloud, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), VAT compliance, IFRS reporting standards, and corporate budgeting systems. Candidates with expertise in risk management frameworks, internal controls, cost accounting, financial forecasting models, and enterprise accounting software solutions will support strategic financial decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Key Result Areas:

1. Assist with preparation and submission of corporate tax return, transfer pricing filings and other tax filings on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Manage end-to-end tax compliance processes, including provisions and audit responses, ensuring all submissions are technically robust and audit ready.

3. Proactively identify intra-group transactions, assess transfer pricing compliance, and address gaps to ensure alignment with UAE and international Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) standards along with developing transfer pricing policies and maintaining Transfer Pricing documentation

4. Draft formal requests for tax interpretations and prepare robust responses to queries and notices from the Government authority.

5. Minimize tax penalties, manage tax assessments, perform health checks and ensure all tax positions are technically robust and audit ready.

6. Develop, monitor, and enhance functional procedures and processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and consistency.

7. Provide tax advisory support by analysing transactions, prepare well-substantiated tax positions, monitor legislative changes, assess the impact on the business, share such updates with management and propose/implement responses as appropriate.

8. Drive efficiency in UAE tax compliance processes, maintain effective controls and documentation, support IT system updates for tax changes(E-invoicing), and implement best practices.

9. Collaborate with business units to understand transactions, provide tax guidance, hold trainings, and support compliant practices.

10. Provide support to Group Tax projects/initiatives and assist on ad hoc projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:

Education Qualification:

* Bachelor*s degree in finance or accounting, or Professional qualifications as a CA, CPA, ACCA, or ADIT.

Work Experience:

* Minimum 6 years of taxation experience with exposure to Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and OECD BEPS guidelines

* Good understanding of the Tax Laws and Regulations and experience in proactively managing new developments.

Skills:

* An excellent technical and practical knowledge of taxation

* Ability to prioritise workload

* Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.

* Ability to manage both day-to-day operations as well as project work.
