RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Ensure food safety compliance in accordance with the established Food Safety Management System *’ FSSC 22000 at EKFC by liaising with respective departments in Central Catering Business business unit
2.Conduct food safety inspection and TBT/awareness sessions as per schedule at assigned Business Unit towards fostering a positive food safety culture
3.Ensure effective internal communication with relevant stakeholders on shop floor in addressing the key food safety issues and provide support on process improvement based on risk assessment
4.Supervision and performance evaluation of Senior Food Safety Assistants and Food Safety Assistants based on department KPIs
5.Involve in preparation of Food Safety Trainings through Food Safety Enrichment Program, spot inspection and on-site walkthroughs. Provide support to Senior Food Safety Assistants and Food Safety Assistants.
6.Conduct the Food Safety Weekly Walkthrough at EW, WW and CCU as part of EKFC Internal Audit Program
7.Investigation of foreign object complaints received from airline passengers
8.Supervision and tracking of customer complaints related to Food Safety in Cat360 and CRM
9.Involve in review of Food Safety procedures and documentation. Actively participate in implementation of Food Safety Code of Practices and validation of new food safety processes
10.Provide support during airline client/commercial customer/ third party/regulatory audit in terms of facility inspection and documentation compliance
11.Perform supplier audit as per schedule and timely submission of supplier audit report
12.Follow-up on corrective action report from suppliers in coordination with Procurement department and ensure that corrective actions are closed promptly
13.Review and periodic update of Pest Control KPI
14.Follow-up on Food Watch updates by Dubai Municipality
15.Facilitate the Food Fraud, Food Defense and Traceability exercise based on schedule
16.Review and assessment of Food Safety compliance and requirements for commercial clients
17.Assist Food Safety Manager in implementation and compliance with Occupational Safety Programs and Quality Management System within the department
18.Support Senior Food Safety Manager/Food Safety Manager for improvement projects and other process requirements
