General Accountant Full Time

General Accountant jobs in Dubai remain in high demand, particularly within the corporate and construction sectors. GULBAHAR is seeking experienced finance professionals with expertise in UAE corporate tax regulations, VAT compliance, IFRS financial reporting, project accounting, accounts payable and receivable management, and financial statement preparation. Candidates with hands-on experience in SAP FICO, Oracle ERP finance modules, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, and internal audit coordination will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance across large-scale operations in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and customer reconciliations
• Process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursement
• Maintain and post general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and adjustments
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial schedules, reports, and supporting documents for management review
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors and provide the required documentation during audits
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
• Perform additional accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

Qualifications & Experience

• ACCA, CA (Intermediate), or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Proven experience as a General Accountant
• Accounting experience in the UAE or home country (2 Years)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• Experience with accounting software / ERP systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
