Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification, posting, and payment processing.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, collections, and customer account monitoring.
• Perform regular reconciliations for AP and AR accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper classification of accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules and assist in management reporting.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Ensure all accounting entries comply with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Verify financial data and ensure accuracy in all accounting records.
• Assist with audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding payment processing and financial queries.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and financial record management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
