Key Responsibilities

Passenger Transportation

• Safely transport passengers according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure passengers reach their destinations safely and on time.
• Follow approved transportation schedules and designated routes.
• Assist passengers when reasonably required, particularly during boarding and departure.
• Ensure passengers follow applicable safety requirements while traveling.
• Maintain a calm, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Provide a comfortable and safe journey for all passengers.

Safe Driving

• Follow all UAE traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Maintain safe driving practices in residential areas, city roads, highways, and industrial locations.
• Observe speed limits, traffic signals, road signs, and parking regulations.
• Maintain appropriate distance from other vehicles.
• Adjust driving according to traffic, weather, and road conditions.
• Avoid unsafe driving practices and unnecessary risks.
• Report accidents, traffic violations, or safety incidents immediately.

Route & Schedule Management

• Maintain good knowledge of UAE roads, highways, major locations, and transport routes.
• Use GPS and navigation systems when required.
• Plan routes efficiently while considering traffic conditions and road restrictions.
• Ensure timely arrival at pickup and drop-off points.
• Monitor traffic delays and communicate significant changes to the supervisor.
• Follow daily transportation schedules accurately.
• Report route-related problems or diversions promptly.

Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance

• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Check tires, brakes, lights, mirrors, doors, air conditioning, and other basic vehicle components.
• Ensure the bus is clean, safe, and ready for passenger transportation.
• Report mechanical defects and maintenance requirements immediately.
• Coordinate with the transport or maintenance team regarding servicing.
• Maintain proper vehicle cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure required vehicle documents are available and valid.

Daily Transport Operations

• Complete assigned trips according to company schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel, and other required information.
• Follow company transportation procedures and operational policies.
• Coordinate with transport supervisors regarding route or passenger requirements.
• Report delays, breakdowns, accidents, or passenger-related incidents.
• Ensure the bus is parked safely in the designated location after duty.
• Carry out other reasonable transportation duties assigned by management.

Passenger Service

• Greet and communicate with passengers in a professional and respectful manner.
• Respond politely to basic passenger inquiries.
• Maintain appropriate behavior while dealing with passengers.
• Handle passenger concerns calmly and report serious issues to the supervisor.
• Respect passenger privacy and personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable environment inside the bus.
• Provide assistance during boarding or unloading when necessary.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow company health, safety, and transportation procedures.
• Ensure all passengers follow applicable safety rules.
• Maintain awareness of vehicle weight, size, turning radius, and braking requirements.
• Follow designated parking and loading procedures.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or vehicle problems.
• Participate in required safety briefings and driver training.
• Maintain a responsible and professional driving record.

Job Requirements

• Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License – License No. 06.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a UAE Heavy Bus Driving License.
• Proven experience operating heavy buses professionally.
• Strong knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Clean and responsible driving record is preferred.
• Good understanding of road safety procedures.
• Ability to operate heavy passenger vehicles safely.
• Good physical fitness and alertness.
• Ability to work according to assigned schedules and shifts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, punctual, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a transport team.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in busy traffic conditions.
