HSE Assistant Full Time

Zahr Freighters is seeking a dedicated HSE Assistant to support our health, safety, and environmental initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of workplace safety, and assisting in risk assessments. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Assist in conducting safety drills and awareness programs.
• Coordinate with employees and management to promote a safe workplace.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an HSE role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and workplace hazards.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate safety procedures effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
