HVAC Technician Full Time

Position Summary

The HVAC Technician at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction. This role involves daily inspections of the mechanical plant, monitoring and controlling the property’s temperature, and analyzing energy and utilities usage to promote efficiency.

The technician will also be required to calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment, assemble and install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring. Routine maintenance of pool and spa facilities is also part of the job duties.

In this role, adherence to company safety and security policies is critical. The HVAC Technician will report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete all required safety training and certifications. Professionalism is expected at all times, including maintaining a clean and professional appearance and protecting company assets.

Interpersonal skills are essential for this role. The technician must be able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, develop and maintain positive working relationships, and respond appropriately to the concerns of others. The role requires physical agility, including the ability to reach overhead, move in confined spaces, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
