Jr. Accountant Full Time

A Jr. Accountant in Fujairah plays an important role in supporting financial reporting, bookkeeping, accounts management, and VAT compliance within modern organizations. Job Overview

• The Jr. Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records.

• This role involves handling basic accounting tasks, administrative support, and coordination with internal teams.

• The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Candidates with good communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording daily financial transactions in accounting systems.

• Maintain and update financial records and documentation.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately.

• Perform basic bank reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.

• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.

• Coordinate with other departments for financial data and documentation.

• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

• Assist in payroll-related documentation and administrative tasks.

• Support senior accountants during month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Assist in audit preparation by organizing required documents.

• Handle general administrative tasks related to the finance department.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and office administration.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Hindi or Urdu-speaking candidates are preferred.
