Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments accurately.
• Verify payment requests before processing.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
• Maintain accurate AP and AR records.
• Resolve payment discrepancies promptly.

Payment Verification & Reconciliation

• Verify financial transactions and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations regularly.
• Reconcile supplier and customer account balances.
• Monitor outstanding payments and overdue accounts.
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for management review.

Customer & Vendor Coordination

• Maintain customer payment plans and account records.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
• Respond to customer and supplier finance-related inquiries.
• Maintain positive business relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Support smooth communication between departments.

Financial Reporting & Operations

• Prepare AP and AR reports on a regular basis.
• Monitor overdue accounts and prepare aging reports.
• Assist with daily accounting operations and bookkeeping.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
• Perform additional accounting tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Invoicing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA are an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
