Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

• Perform data entry for invoices, expenses, receipts, and journal entries under supervision.

• Support accounts payable activities by verifying invoices, preparing payment vouchers, and maintaining supplier records.

• Assist with accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation, posting collections, and tracking outstanding balances.

• Perform bank and cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Help reconcile general ledger accounts and report discrepancies to senior accounting staff.

• Assist in preparing journal entries for routine accounting transactions.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and summaries.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation, both physical and digital.

• Assist in monitoring expenses and maintaining basic cost control records.

• Support preparation of financial reports and summaries using MS Excel.

• Ensure transactions comply with company policies and basic accounting standards.

• Assist in maintaining VAT-related records and supporting documentation as per UAE requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments to collect invoices and financial information.

• Support internal and external audits by organizing and providing required documents.

• Use accounting software or ERP systems for posting transactions and generating reports.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and act with professionalism and integrity.

• Identify errors or inconsistencies in financial records and report them promptly.

• Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.

• Perform other accounting and related duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Accountant.
