Key Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll accurately and within set deadlines.
Verify employee attendance, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
Maintain and update payroll records and employee data.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review.
Handle end-of-service benefits and final settlement calculations.
Coordinate with HR for new joiners, resignations, and salary adjustments.
Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger.
Process reimbursements, bonuses, and incentive payments.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of payroll records.
Respond to employee payroll-related queries professionally.
Coordinate with banks for salary transfers and related transactions.
Assist in preparing payroll-related reports for audits.
Maintain confidentiality of employee salary information.
Monitor payroll processes and suggest improvements for efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
3–5 years of proven experience in payroll accounting.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in payroll software and ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
