QA/QC Engineer Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure construction and engineering activities comply with approved specifications, drawings, standards, and quality plans.
• Conduct regular inspections of ongoing project activities.
• Monitor workmanship and identify quality issues at an early stage.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are properly implemented.
• Maintain consistent quality standards throughout project execution.
• Support continuous improvement of project quality processes.

Inspection & Testing

• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and completed works.
• Verify that delivered materials comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspection and testing activities with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review inspection and test results for compliance.
• Monitor testing procedures and ensure required records are properly maintained.
• Identify non-conforming work and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Follow up on inspection observations until satisfactory closure.

Documentation & Records

• Prepare and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Maintain inspection requests, checklists, test reports, material approvals, and quality records.
• Ensure documents are properly completed, reviewed, approved, and filed.
• Maintain quality registers and tracking logs.
• Assist in preparing project quality reports and inspection summaries.
• Ensure all quality documentation is available for audits and project handover.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical quality files.

Non-Conformance Management

• Identify and report non-conformities related to materials, workmanship, or processes.
• Prepare or assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with relevant departments to investigate the root cause of quality issues.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions.
• Verify completed corrective measures before closing quality observations.
• Maintain accurate records of NCRs and corrective actions.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Attend quality meetings and provide updates on inspection and compliance matters.
• Communicate quality requirements clearly to project personnel.
• Support project teams in understanding approved quality procedures.
• Review technical documentation where required for quality compliance.
• Coordinate inspection schedules and follow up on pending approvals.
• Assist management in resolving quality-related issues.

Quality Audits & Compliance

• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable standards and company procedures.
• Participate in quality inspections and audit preparations.
• Identify areas requiring process improvement.
• Maintain audit-ready quality records.
• Support implementation of quality management systems.
• Ensure project documentation meets contractual and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant QA/QC engineering experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of quality control procedures and engineering standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good inspection, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant technical documentation systems is an advantage.
• UAE/GCC-based candidates are preferred.
• Professional attitude with strong commitment to quality and compliance.
