Sales Executive Full Time

Position Summary:

The Sales Executive at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai will play a key role in managing guest relationships and driving revenue through effective sales techniques. You will interact with guests and resolve any inquiries or requests while promoting brand loyalty. Additionally, you will work closely with management to maintain and enhance the hotel’s sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address guest calls, requests, or issues by contacting the appropriate departments, such as Sales, Data Administration, or Accounting.
• Use proven sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up-selling, while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts to guests for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
• Promote the St. Regis brand both internally and externally to raise awareness.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points, and handle all reservation changes, cancellations, and inquiries received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Accurately enter Marriott Rewards information during guest reservation processes.
• Manage general office duties for the Sales & Marketing department, such as filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management in motivating and training other employees, acting as a role model.
• Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by acknowledging and addressing guests according to company standards.
• Use professional communication, both spoken and written, and maintain proper telephone etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships within the team and help others meet quality and performance expectations.
• Handle various tasks like moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related sales role.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License/Certification: None required.
