Senior Accountant Full Time

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong foundation in accounts receivable, billing, and financial reconciliation, along with a deep understanding of VAT regulations and compliance practices in the UAE.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing client accounts, and supporting overall financial operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, improving internal processes, and contributing to financial reporting and planning. The ideal candidate should demonstrate integrity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection

• Oversee billing processes, client fund tracking, and reconciliation of client accounts

• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and journal entries

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist with tax filing and audit preparation

• Analyze financial data to support business decisions and improve cost-efficiency

• Maintain proper documentation and support internal/external audit requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and resolve discrepancies

🎓 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE

• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, financial reporting, and compliance standards

• Experience in client fund reconciliation, billing, and accounts receivable

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and MS Excel

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
