Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain complete books of accounts with accuracy and integrity.
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.
• Record journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers.
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements.
• Prepare Cash Flow Statements and monitor cash movements.
• Generate management reports and financial summaries.
• Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.

Accounts & Reconciliation

• Process invoices, supplier payments, customer receipts, and reimbursements.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile ledger balances.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and pending financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate account balances and financial records.

VAT & Compliance

• Maintain basic VAT records and assist with VAT return filing.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Prepare documents required for statutory and financial audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for all accounting activities.
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.

System & Administrative Support

• Utilize Tally for accounting and financial management.
• Input accounting data accurately into accounting software.
• Maintain up-to-date accounting records and digital files.
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, operations, and management teams.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by senior management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years of UAE experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience in preparing Financial Statements and Cash Flow Statements.
• Strong knowledge of Tally accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and VAT return filing.
• Ability to organize and maintain accounting records and files.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Experience processing invoices, payments, receipts, and financial documentation.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Must be currently available in the UAE and able to join immediately.
