Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily store and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, inward and outward movements, and balance quantities.

• Ensure all materials are properly received, inspected, labeled, and stored according to company standards.

• Control material issuance strictly as per approved requisitions and maintain complete stock movement documentation.

• Implement and monitor effective inventory management procedures to minimize shortages, overstocking, and losses.

• Conduct regular physical stock checks and periodic inventory audits, reconciling variances with system records.

• Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock status updates, and consumption summaries to management.

• Coordinate closely with procurement, accounts, and site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate reorder requests to avoid disruptions in operations.

• Ensure proper documentation, including delivery notes, material receipt vouchers, issue slips, and stock registers.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization within the store area.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and storage guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials.

• Supervise store assistants or helpers and assign duties as required.

• Safeguard company assets by preventing loss, damage, or unauthorized usage of materials.

• Coordinate with suppliers and transport teams during material deliveries and returns.

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and explanations.

• Ensure timely updating of inventory records in manual logs and/or ERP systems.

• Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency and inventory accuracy.

• Maintain effective communication with site engineers and project teams regarding material availability.

• Handle additional store-related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Store In-Charge.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and documentation procedures.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems for inventory tracking and reporting.

• Certification in inventory or warehouse management is an added advantage.

• Good organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for store operations.

• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
