RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maximizing storage capacity within limited space.
• Deciding on alternative solution in situation of non-availability of materials or when required material is below minimum optimal stock.

Operational

• Maintain receipts, records and withdrawal and issuance of materials from store/Stockroom, packing, labeling of materials and equipment.
• Classification and codifying items and materials received in stores.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to account for replacement.
• Changes Rotate stock, following FIFO system as applicable and coordinate for disposal.
• To ensure preparation and updating of daily and monthly stock report and providing inputs for forecasting of requirements.
• To ensure storage materials are protected against any damages and deteriorations and to provide security against loss, fire&accident.
• Responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping in storage area enabling easy accessibility to material.
• To ensure restricted movements in storage area and prohibiting any unauthorized person entering inside store.

People Management

• Instructs Store men and participates as necessary in checking and clearing materials received.

Product/Process Improvement

• Raises discrepancy/damage reports and goods received Notes.
• Check requisitions before issue to ensure accuracy and correct authorization.
• Check requisitions after issue to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• PREFERRED : Graduate in any discipline.
• MINIMUM :

Knowledge & Skill

• MS Office.
• Working knowledge in ERP for MM module.

Experience

• PREFERRED : Relevant Experience in UAE or Gulf preferred.
• MINIMUM : Relevant Experience 3 to 5 year’s.
