Accounting Assistant Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions such as sales, expenses, and receipts.
• Support the maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and journals, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
• Help process accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices, preparing payment vouchers, and maintaining supplier records.
• Assist in handling accounts receivable (AR), including generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform basic bank reconciliations, ensuring that financial records match bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions and records.
• Assist in data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support budget tracking and expense monitoring, helping ensure financial control.
• Assist in preparing VAT documentation and tax-related records where required.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by organizing financial documents and reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to collect and verify financial information.
• Help maintain inventory and asset records, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist senior accountants with administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and departments.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
