MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of network hardware, including routers, switches, servers, and telecommunications equipment.
• Provide technical support for network operating systems and software applications, troubleshooting issues related to connectivity, security, and performance.
• Configure, manage, and maintain network security systems including firewalls, End Point Protection system to protect network integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including network outages, slow performance, and configuration errors.
• Maintain and update network diagrams, technical documentation, and asset management registers, including user account management, equipment, and software distribution.
• Conduct regular network audits and physical inventory of IT assets to ensure accuracy of network and hardware a

• Maintain a clean and organized network infrastructure, ensuring that network equipment and server rooms are safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Key skills:

• High school diploma is required, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing IT customer support to computer users in an office environment is required.
• Certifications in any of the following are highly desired; CCNA, Network +
• A proven ability to interact with employees of different levels and different cultures is preferred.
• The ability to work analytically and independently, as well as within a team is preferred.
