Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure strong cybersecurity, data protection, and regular backup procedures across all systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for staff and students.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, servers, and network devices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to teachers, staff, and students.

• Ensure smooth operation of school systems including CCTV, access control, printers, communication systems, and classroom technologies.

• Plan, implement, and update IT policies, procedures, and security measures.
• Support digital learning initiatives, online learning tools, and school website management.
• Maintain network performance and ensure minimal downtime for systems and services.
• Conduct system updates, software upgrades, and preventive maintenance regularly.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, inventory records, and support logs.
• Perform additional IT administration and support duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an IT Administrator in a school in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cybersecurity, and system administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and school management systems.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE data protection laws and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT tasks efficiently.
