Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping operations.
• Record and maintain financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate account balances.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Monitor company expenses and verify supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and inventory transactions where applicable.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.
• Support VAT documentation, tax-related requirements, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial records and documentation.
• Analyze financial information and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Maintain organized accounting files and financial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping procedures.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting functions.
