Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, and accounting documentation.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments accurately.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management summaries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Verify accounting data and identify discrepancies for correction.
• Assist in preparing VAT-related reports and compliance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing necessary documents.
• Coordinate with various departments regarding accounting-related matters.
• Generate reports using Orison ERP and assist management with financial information.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records and company information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Proficiency in Orison ERP is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and accounting compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
