Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage and oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review General Ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounting records.
• Monitor financial performance and provide reports to senior management.
• Analyze financial data and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.

Budgeting & Cash Flow Management

• Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support business operations.
• Track actual performance against budgets and investigate variances.
• Provide management with regular cash flow forecasts and financial insights.
• Support strategic financial planning and investment decisions.

Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the Accounts and Finance team.
• Assign responsibilities and ensure efficient workflow within the department.
• Review team performance and support professional development initiatives.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting tasks and reporting deadlines.
• Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and treasury functions.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain and manage QuickBooks operations and financial records.
• Ensure proper utilization of ERP systems and financial software.
• Oversee VAT calculations, filing, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement financial best practices.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit activities.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and corporate governance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting and finance experience with a real estate developer.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems.
• Excellent understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
