Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Monitor cash flow transactions and assist in managing company finances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Verify financial data and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper allocation of costs.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support tax-related documentation and statutory reporting where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and company information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting procedures.
