Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and credit notes.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently.
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL).
• Process supplier payments and customer receipts on time.
• Verify financial documents before processing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all accounting transactions comply with company policies.

Billing & Financial Reporting

• Prepare customer invoices and monitor payment collections.
• Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations regularly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Generate Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Reports.
• Prepare management reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Analyze financial performance and identify discrepancies.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Prepare and maintain VAT and other taxation-related documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial records.
• Maintain organized accounting files for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.

Travel & DMC Financial Support

• Handle accounting related to travel bookings, tour operations, and supplier settlements.
• Coordinate with operations, reservations, and sales teams regarding billing and financial documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of travel-related transactions.
• Support financial reporting for Destination Management Company (DMC) operations.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Travel & Tourism or Destination Management Company (DMC) industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing, taxation, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with travel-related systems or DMC operations is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
