Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations independently.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

VAT & Corporate Tax Compliance

• Prepare and maintain UAE VAT documentation and records.
• Prepare and assist with VAT return filing in accordance with FTA regulations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
• Maintain proper tax documentation for audits and inspections.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Stay updated with changes in UAE tax laws and financial regulations.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate management reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
• Present accurate financial information to management.

FTA Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure full compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation for audits.
• Implement effective internal financial controls.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, bookkeeping, and FTA compliance.
• Ability to manage the accounting function independently.
• Strong understanding of the complete accounting cycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and financial accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident, accountable, and capable of working independently.
