Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading

• Load and unload goods, materials, packages, equipment, and other items from trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage, loss, or breakage.
• Arrange items safely inside vehicles, warehouses, and designated storage areas.
• Assist drivers and warehouse personnel during loading and unloading activities.
• Ensure materials are positioned securely before transportation.
• Follow proper manual handling techniques when moving heavy or bulky items.
• Complete loading and unloading tasks within assigned schedules.

Material Handling

• Move materials between warehouse, loading areas, delivery vehicles, and designated locations.
• Carry, lift, push, pull, and arrange materials as required.
• Use appropriate handling equipment when authorized and trained.
• Ensure goods are moved safely without causing damage to products or property.
• Assist in arranging materials according to instructions.
• Keep frequently handled items organized for efficient operations.
• Report damaged or unsafe materials to the supervisor.

Sorting & Organization

• Sort materials, packages, and goods according to type, size, destination, or instructions.
• Check labels and markings before moving or arranging items.
• Place materials in the correct designated areas.
• Maintain orderly loading and unloading zones.
• Assist with inventory movement and basic material organization.
• Ensure goods are not mixed or misplaced.
• Report missing, damaged, or incorrectly labeled items promptly.

Safety Procedures

• Follow all company health and safety procedures during manual handling activities.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Apply safe lifting and carrying techniques.
• Avoid unsafe handling practices that could cause injury or damage.
• Keep walkways, loading areas, and workspaces free from unnecessary obstacles.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or damaged equipment.
• Follow supervisor instructions regarding safe movement and handling of materials.

Warehouse Support

• Assist warehouse staff with daily operational activities.
• Support receiving and dispatch operations when required.
• Help prepare goods for delivery and collection.
• Assist with arranging and maintaining warehouse areas.
• Support basic stock movement activities under supervision.
• Keep materials properly arranged and accessible.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining loading and storage areas.

Delivery Support

• Assist in preparing goods for outgoing deliveries.
• Check packages and materials against instructions before loading.
• Ensure items are loaded securely and in an organized manner.
• Assist with unloading goods at customer or project locations when required.
• Handle customer goods carefully during delivery-related activities.
• Report delivery-related discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Support drivers and delivery teams as instructed.

Teamwork & Coordination

• Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, supervisors, logistics teams, and other employees.
• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and team leaders.
• Communicate clearly regarding material movement and operational issues.
• Assist team members during busy loading and unloading periods.
• Maintain a cooperative and positive attitude.
• Complete assigned duties efficiently while supporting overall team productivity.
• Ask for clarification when instructions are unclear.

Workplace Housekeeping

• Keep loading, unloading, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Remove packaging materials and waste according to company procedures.
• Ensure materials are not blocking access routes or emergency areas.
• Maintain proper housekeeping throughout the work shift.
• Return handling tools and equipment to designated locations.
• Report damaged equipment or workplace hazards.
• Support a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in loading, unloading, sorting, and moving materials is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work safely.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials as required.
• Able to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently.
• Good awareness of workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Hardworking, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Good time management and punctuality.

• Currently residing in the UAE.
