Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging, platform-specific video content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social platforms.
• Work on videos produced from professional shoots, interviews, events, campaigns and digital content.
• Edit and develop Reels, Shorts, social ads, branded content, product videos and campaign films.
• Create and edit animated videos, motion graphics, typography and visual effects.
• Work with AI-generated video, AI visuals, AI-assisted editing and emerging creative tools.
• Transform raw footage and creative concepts into compelling social-first content.
• Understand pacing, storytelling, hooks, transitions, sound design and visual language suited to social media.
• Work closely with Creative, Copy, Social Media and Account teams to understand briefs and deliver content on time.
• Adapt existing long-form content into multiple short-form social assets.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while bringing creativity and fresh visual ideas to every project.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, AI tools, formats and emerging content trends.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably within an agency, creative studio, production house or digital/social media environment.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation, colour correction, sound design and visual effects.
• Proven experience working with shoot-based footage as well as animated and digital-first content.
• Hands-on understanding of AI video and creative tools and the ability to incorporate AI into the content production process.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form video formats.
• Excellent sense of visual storytelling, timing, pacing and music selection.
• Ability to take a brief or rough concept and independently develop it into a polished final video.
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of branding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing social media, branded, shoot-based, animation and/or AI-generated video work is essential.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI video generation and editing platforms.
• Basic understanding of cinematography and shooting techniques.
• Experience creating content for multiple brands and industries.
• Understanding of social media performance and what makes content engaging, shareable and platform-friendly.
