KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting Records & Entries

• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and supporting documents.
• Record daily sales and purchase transactions in the accounting system.
• Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Verify transaction details and supporting documents before making accounting entries.
• Maintain organized records for easy retrieval and management review.
• Assist with correcting accounting entries under appropriate supervision.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Support Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including vendor invoices and payment records.
• Assist with processing and monitoring vendor payments.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities related to customer billing and collections.
• Maintain updated vendor and customer account information.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies in supplier and customer accounts.
• Follow up on pending documentation and payment-related information when required.

Bank Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform basic bank reconciliations and assist in identifying transaction differences.
• Match bank transactions with accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with preparing account statements and routine financial reports.
• Support the finance team during month-end closing activities.
• Assist with journal entries, account schedules, and closing documentation.
• Provide accurate accounting information to management and senior finance personnel.

Software & Administrative Support

• Use Tally ERP for accounting entries, ledgers, invoices, and transaction records.
• Use MS Excel for financial data, reconciliation schedules, reports, and basic analysis.
• Prepare accounting documents and correspondence using MS Word.
• Maintain electronic and physical financial records in an organized manner.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Coordination

• Coordinate professionally with vendors, customers, and management regarding accounting matters.
• Communicate with internal departments to obtain invoices, receipts, approvals, and supporting documents.
• Assist in resolving billing, payment, and documentation queries.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
