Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Verify and process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in maintaining General Ledger (GL) accounts and accounting schedules.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Process customer receipts and supplier payments in a timely manner.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and assist with payment collections.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Reconciliation & Financial Reporting

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any differences.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and balances.
• Prepare accounting schedules and reports for management review.
• Assist in budgeting and financial analysis tasks when required.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.

Administrative Support

• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and financial records.
• Assist with documentation, record keeping, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and approvals.
• Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Requirements
