Accountant Full Time

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: Completed CA, ACCA, or CPA

• Experience: 5+ years of well-rounded accounting experience in mid to small-sized organizations

• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

• Soft Skills: Excellent time management, data analysis, and organizational abilities

• Location: Must be based in UAE (UAE tax experience is a mandatory requirement)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Maintenance: Record expenses, prepare cheques for petty cash reimbursement, handle monthly closing of books, and prepare quarterly VAT returns

• Audit Liaison: Coordinate with auditors for financial statement audits and ICV certification

• Accounting Software: Record sales and collections in QuickBooks (or similar software)

• Reporting: Prepare AR reports for management, conduct high-level reviews of management accounts

• Payroll Processing: Process monthly payroll via WPS, prepare final settlement calculations, and obtain approvals for outgoing employees

• Billing & Invoicing: Handle billing, monitor payments, and assist project managers in uploading invoices to client portals

• Project Support: Provide ongoing accounting support, create/update project codes for new projects

• Reconciliation: Perform bank and GL reconciliations, and pass income/expense accruals at the end of each period

• Independent Engagements: Manage bookkeeping, reporting, financial reviews, consolidations, and assist in external audits
