Accountant Full Time

Working as an Accountant at Imtiaz Developments in Dubai offers an excellent opportunity to manage financial accounting services, handle VAT compliance solutions, and work with cloud-based accounting software. This role supports accounts payable automation, cash flow management, and financial reporting—ideal for professionals aiming to grow in Dubai’s fast-paced real estate finance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with banks for opening new project escrow accounts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance requirements are met.

• Handle TAS (Trust Account System) activities associated with new project registrations, including the processing of project inflows and outflows.

• Manage all types of payments from TAS for project expenses, ensuring proper approvals and compliance with escrow regulations.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports accurately, providing management with updated insights into project financial performance.

• Review all documents related to project registration to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Manage and activate project accounts for Construction, Sales & Marketing, and other project-related payments.

• Process Project CAP Variation requests, ensuring proper documentation, justification, and approvals.

• Handle beneficiary addition and updates in the project accounts as required.

• Support and coordinate the annual escrow audit, ensuring timely submission of data and proper documentation to auditors.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure that project accounts adhere to internal financial policies and external regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project-related financial tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Assist management with ad-hoc financial reports, reconciliations, and project-based financial analyses.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong understanding of escrow guidelines, TAS operations, and project-based accounting.

• Experience in documentation review and compliance monitoring.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prepare MIS reports and maintain accurate financial records.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in financial handling.

• Prior experience in project accounting or real estate accounting is an added advantage.
