Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, invoices, and receipts.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets for management review.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by providing accurate data and insights.

• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.

• Ensure compliance with local taxation laws, VAT, and other statutory requirements.

• Maintain financial systems, improve processes, and support the finance team in operational efficiency.

• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work under deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience & Preference

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Candidates with internship experience, knowledge of accounts reconciliation, and familiarity with VAT or tax filing will be preferred.

• Fresh graduates with strong theoretical knowledge and eagerness to learn may also be considered.
