Accountant Full Time

Searching for a high-value Accountant job in Dubai with RBS Ravis Auditors? This role focuses on UAE tax accounting, VAT filing, audit and assurance services, and IFRS financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate financial statements and management reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed on time.

• Maintain and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Ensure tax compliance, including preparation, filing, and documentation of applicable taxes, VAT, and statutory returns.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by collecting data, analyzing variances, and providing financial insights.

• Monitor expenses and revenues to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.

• Provide timely financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making purposes.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; strong command of MS Excel for financial analysis.

• High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Experience & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience in financial reporting and compliance roles.

• CPA or CMA certification is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• Experience handling tax compliance, budgeting, and financial closing processes is mandatory.
