Accountant Full Time

The Accountant role in Sharjah with Bericht Audit & Advisory is ideal for professionals seeking exposure to audit services, financial reporting, tax advisory, and corporate compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle company accounts and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

• Record daily financial transactions, including journals, invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.

• Perform bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Maintain accurate records of invoices, bills, and supporting documents.

• Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation for financial audits as required.

• Utilize Zoho Books effectively to manage accounting data, generate reports, and streamline processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com graduate or CA Articleship experience.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with Zoho Books or similar accounting software.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data management.

• Knowledge of UAE or local accounting practices is an advantage (if applicable).
