Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the configuration of ERP systems to generate compliant e-invoices and ensure seamless connectivity with authorized Accredited Service Providers (ASPs).

• Ensure all invoice fields meet Federal Tax Authority (FTA) or relevant regulatory requirements.

• Generate, validate, and issue e-invoices for B2B and B2G transactions in line with statutory guidelines.

• Demonstrate familiarity with the 5-corner model and other e-invoicing frameworks, including the Peppol network and XML invoice formats.

• Assist in integrating ERP systems with accredited service providers for invoice validation, transmission, and acknowledgment.

• Maintain strong compliance with VAT/GST regulations and ensure accurate tax treatment in all invoices and accounting entries.

• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions as required.

• Book supplier invoices accurately and raise debit notes and credit notes where applicable.

• Analyze and clear provision accounts upon invoice booking and prepare relevant journal entries.

• Prepare accounting journals related to invoice postings, adjustments, accruals, and prepayments.

• Perform supplier reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate balances.

• Prepare adjustment entries, accruals, and prepayments during month-end and year-end closing.

• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails in line with internal controls and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor of Commerce; CA Inter qualification is preferred.

• Minimum of three years’ experience in e-invoicing and core accounting functions.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Working knowledge of Oracle or SAP ERP systems is mandatory.

• High proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.

• Experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
