Key Responsibilities

Financial Control & Reporting

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. (P&L periodic submission)
• Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, and financial performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Distributor Financial Management

• Oversee financial interactions with distributors, including sales reconciliation, deductions, rebates, and claims.
• Monitor distributor credit exposure, outstanding receivables, and payment terms.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Commercial Support

• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Partner with Sales and Demand Planner to review pricing, promotions, and margin impact.
• Provide financial insights on distributor profitability, trade spend, and cost-to-serve.

Accounts Receivable & Working Capital

• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and dispute resolution with distributors.
• Monitor cash flow, aging, and credit limits to optimize working capital.

Audit, Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements across operating markets.
• Maintain strong documentation and financial governance in distributor agreements.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting.
• Support financial system usage, enhancements, and data accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting or financial controlling experience, ideally within FMCG.
• Proven experience working with distributors or indirect sales models is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of distributor models, trade spend, rebates, and credit management.
• High attention to detail with a structured and control-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with commercial teams.
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
