Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for all financial transactions.

• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of supplier payments.

• Oversee accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding collections.

• Prepare and monitor project visibility reports, tracking revenue and expenses.

• Record daily financial entries in accounting systems and ensure accuracy.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management.

• Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate with shipping operations for financial documentation and invoicing.

• Handle freight-related accounting entries and shipping cost allocations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documents.

• Monitor operational costs and recommend cost-control measures.

Industry-Specific Responsibilities (Shipping)

• Manage accounting related to shipping transactions, freight charges, and port expenses.

• Track vessel-related expenses and project profitability.
