Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including recording, monitoring, and reconciling financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
• Handle accounts payable (AP), including verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely invoicing, tracking customer payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare and process VAT and Corporate Tax filings in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure all cash and bank transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist in payroll processing through WPS (Wage Protection System) and maintain employee payroll records.
• Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements to support month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards.
• Utilize Tally ERP and Zoho Books for efficient bookkeeping, reporting, and account management.
• Generate financial reports and management summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in audit preparation by organizing supporting documents and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all accounting activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and management to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or operational issues in accounting processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Zoho Books is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with VAT and Corporate Tax filings in the UAE.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and payroll/WPS systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to compliance standards.
