General Accountant Full Time

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong accounting background and experience in the UAE, who are ready to take on a dynamic position with room for growth.

Requirements:

• Education:
  A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s in Finance, or part-qualified ACCA is required. A solid academic foundation in accounting and financial principles is essential for this role.

• Experience:
  Applicants must have 3 to 5 years of UAE-based accounting experience. Familiarity with local accounting practices, including VAT regulations, is critical. Candidates with prior experience in preparing financial statements, managing audits, and reconciling accounts will be given preference.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks for bookkeeping, expense tracking, and invoicing.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.

  • Competency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and optimize reporting.

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.

• Salary:
  A competitive monthly salary of AED 7,000 – 8,000, based on qualifications and experience.
