Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date financial records and bookkeeping systems.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial laws.
• Handle VAT filing, ensuring accurate calculations, timely submissions, and proper documentation.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, verifying all transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining accurate general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by organizing required documents and reports.
• Provide financial insights and support management decision-making.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve financial accuracy.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and bookkeeping practices.
• Expertise in VAT filing and UAE compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
