Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices and processing supplier payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
• Prepare and perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all entries match bank statements.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
• Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring completeness of financial data.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting framework, company policies, and financial regulations.
• Monitor financial transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all accounting records.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Perform additional ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum B.Com qualification.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years UAE experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, including Excel and ERP systems.
• Good understanding of the UAE accounting framework and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must be currently available in UAE for interview.
