Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records for all financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) including invoice verification, approvals, and vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) including invoicing, collections, and follow-ups.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts with proper classification.
• Prepare and post journal entries for daily and monthly accounting activities.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Prepare and assist in VAT filings and tax documentation.
• Handle project accounting and cost control for MEP projects.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Perform additional accounting tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in Abu Dhabi.
• Prior experience in MEP contracting companies is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
• Good understanding of data entry, AP/AR, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and statements.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Attested educational certificates will be an advantage.
• Must be available for immediate joining.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with project accounting and cost control in construction/MEP.
