Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation of all accounting activities.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare journal entries, ledger postings, and month-end accounting adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Handle VAT-related transactions, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in VAT return preparation and ensure timely statutory submissions.
• Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Reconcile inventory balances and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Support project costing activities by tracking project expenses and allocations.
• Prepare project cost reports and profitability analysis for management review.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Generate periodic financial reports and management accounts.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and project teams regarding financial matters.
• Maintain organized accounting files, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and UAE regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT, inventory management, and project costing.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience managing financial records and accounting transactions independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
