Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and daily financial transactions.
• Record and monitor sales, purchases, inventory movements, and financial entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial documentation.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain General Ledger accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile gold, diamond, and jewellery inventory records.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and inventory variances.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory purchases, transfers, and sales.
• Prepare inventory valuation reports and stock movement analyses.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams regarding stock management.
• Maintain proper documentation for inventory transactions and financial records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.
• Monitor inventory costs and assist in profitability analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial and inventory-related information.

Requirements

• Previous accounting experience in the jewellery industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of gold and diamond inventory management.
• Experience in stock reconciliation and inventory control processes.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
