Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record and verify financial entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely processing of supplier payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and monitor customer collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support UAE VAT filing and maintain tax-related documentation.
• Assist with Corporate Tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial transactions.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and reporting obligations.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Experience working in the technical services sector is an advantage.
