Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain updated and accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Review and verify sales invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and classified.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including supplier invoice verification and payment scheduling.
• Handle accounts receivable functions and maintain accurate customer account records.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain collection records.
• Monitor customer balances and support collection efforts to improve cash flow.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Monitor and review petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain petty cash balances and prepare reconciliation reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting reports for management review.
• Maintain organized financial records, files, and documentation systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and management summaries.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting-related matters.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial procedures.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and reporting tools.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
