Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and credit notes.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitor customer collections.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) records.
• Verify supporting documents before processing financial transactions.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate management reports, financial summaries, and cash flow reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Assist with Corporate Tax compliance and filing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Maintain records required for audits and statutory reporting.
• Support internal and external auditors by providing financial documentation.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company compliance.

Import & Export Accounting

• Maintain accounting records related to import and export transactions.
• Verify shipping documents, supplier invoices, and customs-related expenses.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement departments regarding financial documentation.
• Monitor import costs and reconcile related financial transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with VAT and Corporate Tax filing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP.
• Good understanding of Import/Export accounting procedures.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
